Forums - Gaming - Update: GT6(81)>Forza 5(80) GT definite racing game according to metacritic

Well both GT6 and Forza 5 are loosing sales compared to their previous installments.  That being said you can't compare the sales of Forza 5 to previous Forza games because its the first game of the franchise that is a lauch game and launch games never sell as good as games that come later in the generation no matter how good they are the only game to which that rule does not apply is Mario 64 because it was always in print and was always one of the best games on the N64.

What piss me of the most

is that a god damn car that in the game on the disk, you got to PAY more at access, i cant think of any other game that screws its community as hard as F5 tries to do. Yet some actually try to defend such shit, some on here better have MS stock to be doing that.

I know this is a response thread to that other thread, but I guess the GT fans didn't spend much time reading the title, it was about 7th gen racers. I might be mistaken but its hard for GT6 to disprove that thread with only an 81 score. I doubt 81 is the high mark for the 7th gen racers. Someone help me out here, is 81 the high for gen 7?

The title wasn't originally about 7th gen racers though. He was talking about GT6 and Forza 5 until he changed the title (and OP) to referencing 7th gen only after GT6's score shot up to match Forza 5's. Or in picture form:

Yeah, it's actually painful sometimes. I should point out that I like the Forza games. I just don't see how someone could post some of this stuff thinking all was well and good.

I own F5, but the game is a pure money grab by the scum at turn ten.
And looking at Xbone game choices, there really is nothing else.

How exactly is it a money grap all previous Forza games except the first one had DLC.  Also they recently adjusted the ecomony so there really is no need for microtransactions unless you totally suck at the game and even with that there are other ways to optain credits in the game just sign up for the Forza rewards program which is free or asked for some credits in on of the threats on the Forza website.  Also as content goes it stacks up equally to Forza 2 which was the first Forza game on the 360.

Reststance out sold all later ones.

Gears out sold Gears 3, by your theory Gears should have been severly out sold by the later ones.

Tekken TT out sold all later Tekkens on PS2, even though later ones sold on MASSIVE user base.

How is that not a money grab.  Laferarri is not a late DC addition, its alreay there.

Why the hell does it cost me extra to use game content.

tell me how do i got about getting the LaFerrari for FREE, when i click on it it says i need the ferrari pack $9.99

The title was edited once GT got closer. It originally said that Forza 5 is higher than GT 6 and that it was the definitive racing game.

I'm aware that they are numerous games where the first one on the console sold more then the sequels.  Also the first Restistance is a poor example since it was heavily bundled.  As for Tekken TT outselling Tekken 4 and 5 that was well deserved since it is the best Tekken game on the PS2 and the second best Tekken game of all time behind Tekken 3.

lol almost makes me embarresed to own a xbone and F5, the fans on that side have no logic and flip flop all the time.
