How do you have time to play all these cheap games? I bought Age 2 HD + Forgotten Realms and it's been sweet so far although the multiplayer seems even less stable than it was in the past.

I was thinking of buying Crusader Kings 2 but it seems very complex and perhaps boring. Anyone played it extensively?

I've only played the demo and it seemed to have a very steep learning curve. But I hear that after you've learned the mechanics it becomes really fun. It's made by Paradox, the masters of complex strategy games.

Yeah they're the masters but does anybody on VGC even play them? Have you honestly played any of their strategy games extensively and do you have the Steam achievements to prove it?

I got like 400 hours on Europa 4 :D.  I got over 700 hours on Civ 5 too.  Honestly though after learning how to play Europa, it's very hard to play civ.  If you become good at Europa it civ feels too shallow.

Cool. How old is Europa 4?

What do u think of Civ 5 compared to Civ 4?

Have you played Endless Space?

Europa 4 is about 2 months old so it's really new (i've played it quite a bit).  The first expansion pack is being launched in january.  I can't comment on Civ 4 as I did not start Civing until CIV

I haven't played Endless Space yet.

cool played left 4 dead with friends on xbox but never on pc. one more game

If anyone is looking for a space turn-based strategy game I recommend the Galactic Civilizations games, which are on flash sale for the next 2 and a half hours.

^It's very tempting but I think I'll pass, at least this time.

I already have too many time sucking games to get into another one .

And shame Deadly Premonition didn't won, I was looking into it.

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Also, another voting goes and I get another card. The nº 3! I didn't had this one .

Now I "only" need numbers 6, 9 and 10. And I have to trade the 1, 4, 5(x2) and 8.

Remember that there's the Steam Trading Card Depot thread to... well, trade cards.

It's fine, there's still 6 days until the sale is over.

I also put one of my #5 on sale (I had 4, 1 plus another 3).

'Dont Starve' was $1.19 at 92% off this morning.

I just checked again and now it's $5.09 at 66% off

Son of a bitch, they must have corrected a mistake. I should have pulled the trigger

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

I bought Dark Souls at 6 Euros and Civilization V Gold for 10 Euros. I hope it will be worth it. Hopefully Civ V is my next big strategy project that will give me the same awesome "one more turn" experience as XCOM Enemy WIthin.

Aside from that I've been enjoying lots of Age pf Empires 2 HD online lately and have had great fun. It's so addictive.

^Speaking about Civ V, did anyone else notice how we had to vote for the vanilla version of Civ V, and it won and was the one on sale, and the has turned into the Gold Edition? There's been some weird things with Steam this Winter Sales.

Also Guacamelee! is on a flash sale, one or two days later after being the winner of the community voting. Seriously Valve, that's not funny...
