I enjoy musou games and adore Zelda so this is great for me. This may be the game to push me over and get a Wii U next year (bundle or price drop and all but assured).

Not interested, but at least this is being done by a third party and hence isn't tying up one of Nintendo's precious few dev teams.
Doesn't hold any interest for me, but I can see why some people are excited.

So Nintendo can't get enough third party games thus requiring third party devs to make games from Nintendo IP? Looks to be the start of Nintendo going in the direction of being just a game developer.
This seems more like a big tease for fans that were looking forward to a real Zelda game, but good for fans of Zelda and Musou.

The graphical quality looks poor for 8th gen, but I like the idea of an action-focused Zelda. It reminds me of playing Zelda 1 and 2 in the old days. As said above, however, it probably means Zelda U won't be coming in 2014. Then again, this is the company that released NSMBU, NSLU, and SM3DW all in the span of 13 months. And just after releasing NSMB2 and SM3DL on 3DS.

1. It's not a clone given that it's from the actual Dynasty Warriors developers.
2. Did Iwata say anything about this game turning things around for Wii U? Where do you even get that? And have you seen their Japanese sales lately? They have turned it around already.

Ok, not trying to be a party pooper here, but can someone explain to me why people are making this into such a big thing? Why is there a post on Reddits r/gaming that is quickly rising to the top, with people saying that they'll need to get a Wii U for this?
I mean really? This is Dynasty Warriors with a freaking Zelda paint coat, that's it, so what's the fuss about?
