It looks like Dynasty Warriors with Link as the main character. And Dynasty Warriors has been milked to death. Sorry but i agree this does not bode well.

Do Dynasty Warrior games usually have stories? If so, I wouldn't mind this game taking place in the Hyrulean Civil War.

I see, I wasn't aware there were games similar to Bladestorm before (well, I should have expected so from w-force I suppose)

Yes they have stories. The DW series is in fact an adaption of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Has so much misinformation been spread about the series that you need to ask?

Alright.. I actually meant have them walk towards the player.. seems so static when only the player goes to the enemies and they are just shuffeling around doing nothing..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Maybe Nintendo should think of a new IP I would be interested to see Nintendos take on wrpgs/fps/tps to be honest.

I ask more because of my ignorance than anything I've been told about them (which is pretty much nothing.) It just seemed to me that a game like this would be much more focused on scores than objectives, meaning a story is unecessary, but again I have no idea.

Ok, so basically it's Nintendo fans hyping up a game that they'd otherwise have zero interest in, just because it has one of their beloved characters in it. |
Well, that's kind of the point of the entire game now isn't it? To attract fans from both series that may not have an interest in either idividually? That's usually the idea behind doing a cross over game.

Isn't that what Lego City was? |
No. That was more of a Lego GTA game with some Nintendo touches thrown in once in a while. For the grand majority of the game, it had absolutely nothing to do with Nintendo in terms of their IPs.
The rEVOLution is not being televised

Musou games are much more objective and mission focused than every other hack and slash game. It is their defining attribute.

I see, that's pretty good. Then they'd definitely have to do tell the story of the hyrulean civil war in this.
