Damn Nintendo sure used to be great

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Really good thread. The funny thing is that nobody has given a good response to counter your point. Even those who try to put together 2 platforms...

Carlos, why did you lose your car ?

j/k :p

Mashing various platforms together is a valid point, but not for the parameters we employ here. Anyway I posted a table for conjoined platforms, its up there, but as someone pointed, it could be outdated.

3 bundled games and half the list is casual shovelware. Are the sequels to those shovelware doing well?

Well Grand Theft Auto 5 should be sitting around 11th and you have a couple of Call of Duty games missing.

LOL only a few years ago they were peaking, They could easily hit these numbers again sometime in the future.

3DS maaaybe? I'm thinking more so if Nintendo's next console is a hit. WiiU has no chance, probably wont even see a game make the top 30

Table for the people in tears:

20% Rest of the world

For those who don't mind to count, that's 3 others, 12 Nintendo.

Hmm, what's up with the discrepency between this graph and the original for Pokemon Red/Green/Blue?  Has Pokemon as a whole been steadily declining?  Drop from Red/Blue/Green to Gold/Silver was pretty substantial according to the first chart.

I feel like this thread was very self explanitory right from the get go, and there's been a whole lot of back and forth going on unnecessarily.  Reading the OP I thought right away that he was talking about single platform software, so of course CoD, GTA, etc. would not be included.  They still sold well guys, it's ok that they're not on this list.

It's all about the game.

Shovelware is a really broad term. To me, almost every dudebro shooter is shovelware.

Doing well, is also a really broad term, if they sold ABOUT 1 million I would say yes. Let's visualize one million units in F letters

Visualizing 1 million in F letters, is way so awesome, and breaks the rules for spamming.

"A lot of F's"

thats it. It's a lot I would say.

man is Lawlight. Don't waste your time. Nintendo hurt his feelings. Don't even try to argue with him
