COD and Minecraft are below top 15. This is console only, I guess. Found it on wikipedia. Could also be outdated for 2013 maybe. You can research and update it for us, if it matters that much to bring Nintendo down for 1 or 2 percent more :p

Are those Minecraft sales retail?

How many formats are the COD games spread around? Can you give sales per format? 

Pretty sure that list he dug up counts individual formats and retail sales only.

Minecraft

PC: 13 million

Xbox 360: 10 million

Those sales were recently announced, so I suppose IOS/android versions have sold around 10 million

 

Black Ops(according to VGchartz)

PS3: 12 million

Xbox 360: 13.8 million

 

Modern Warfare 3(according to VGchartz)

PS3: 12.6 million

Xbox 360: 14 million

Break it down by platform, exclude PC (and DS, it also had CoD), and mobile (Android has Minecraft), and add it to the table.

I think mobile are the new Nintendo.

Let's not count them, because.

 

I'm also curious if it was feasible to vgchartz to track mobileOS's and all digital sales across all platforms.

The pie charts would get crammed, but Nintendo would still have the biggest chunk from non-digital only formats.

I'm not sure what you are actually saying here...

And at your last quote to me; VGC probably couldn't accurately track mobile downloads. I don't even think they are able to yet track downloads from virtual stores on the consoles that are out now. If they are, I'm unaware.

I can see why VGChartz would list them separately since that is how everything is formatted, but if you're making a list of top selling software by company, the only reason to not include them is because you badly want Nintendo to get the 100%.

 

I also like another parameter, which is combining Wii SPorts Sales, with actual table tenis racket sales, because it is the same movement, therefore is da same entertainment, you see. Sales be like: 1342 bajillion units. Untouchable. Such logic.

But I recall encountering a website a while ago, that was exactly like vgchartz but for sales of games in digital platforms. Don't recall the name now.
