to put it simply, there is no such thing as a better console. there are consoles with better GAMES. so far, wii u has more games and better games than ps4k/xone and it will remain like that indefinitely, probably forever.

The Wiimote never went away. Just about any multiplayer game allows them, and even some single player games allow you the option to play using a Wiimote.

I'm guessing you're ignoring that I signed up in 2007 I've concentrated on Nintendo over the last year because it's the most interesting thing to discuss.

Tech is not irrelevant when it means WiiU isn't capable of software XB1 and PS4 are, and will look much better on those consoles.

Online infrastructure equal? LOL you clearly know nothing about that area then. Not even fucking close. Nobody heralds Nintendo's online.~

First party WiiU? You're incapable of removing your bias. Like I said, consumers are not agreeing with you. XB1 and PS4 outsold the WiiU lifetime sales in a matter of days, so yes launch sales do matter (and will matter in the future when the whizz past WiiU).

I can't even take you seriously when you think WiiU will always have a better line up.

The mistery is not why the Wii U id doing bad, is why the Wii succeeded, it was because of Wii sport, the motion gaming and non gamers, so non gamers have moved on to mobile and facebook. Aside from there was no reason to have a Wii and since that is not present in the Wii U, only true nintendo fans have bought one.

To get back to the OPs point, there's no singular reason the Wii U is struggling. Nintendo made about 3-4 crippling mistakes.

You don't get sales this ugly without several bad decisions. Even Mario can't do much with this mess.

The controller is one issue but not the only one.

The Wii U is struggling because:
1) The usual non-gamer crowd is not buying it (Unlike the Wii).
2) The mainstream gamers (that some calls ''Hardcore Gamers'') are, for the most part, not interested in the kind of games available on Wii U.

Now you can speculate all you want about why point 1 is happening.
