I'm sure Horizon 2 will blow minds, but the fans want Turn 10's game to include night racing so new engine is needed.

People are missing something really important...
There features in Horizon didn't affect the driving physics... in the main Forza franchise they need... it is not just add like in Horizon... they needs to remade the driving physics to support it.

Horizon also has a DLC rally mode with does affect driving physics. I'm pretty sure that Playground Games has more then enough people that could help Turn 10 with rain driving physics and inplement a day and night cycle and weather effects but first they need to anounce and finish Horizon 2 of course.
Did some say that GT6 didn't have any pop-up?

This is London reverse... the normal Lodon didn't happen... I cheched right now.

Well, a day/night cycle is only really feasible in a game with real time lighting (for it to look anywhere close to natural), which Forza 5 afaik doesn't have. Some lighting effects might be real-time, but most of the ambient lighting has always been described as fixed/baked, which means that for a night time version they might need to replace the majority of the textures of the track and add in additional real-time lighting effects for headlights and such.

Reverse or not, it's still pop-up so stop making excuses.
He must be joking. Weather effects and night racing are a part of motor sport, Ive had enough of racing in a perfect sunny day in each tracks.

I think you don't get his comment... he said GT6 removed the popup in London... it was comparing with GT5... and yeap the London track have no popup textures anymore... I checked myself... the London Reverse have it like your gif is showing (I checked myself too).
I think you need to ask him if he played London Reverse... in GT6 they are two different tracks (even to choose to play you have two different icons like in GT5).
quote: "no more pop in on London track"

Correct, I haven't played it in reverse yet. I was referring to the buildings suddenly appearing in the distance in London in GT5.
GT6 isn't perfect I know. Matterhorn track has some flickering shadows when the sun goes down. Others probably too but it stood out more on Matterhorn. Great track anyway, scary at night.
