Wow. The usual suspects sure did swarm here, didn't they? *Sigh*
I get what he's saying. They have a standard of quality that they want with features like those, so it would be a huge undertaking to meet that. You all view these as features on a checklist used to penis measure, he views it from a Turn 10 development perspective.
I think it'd be awesome to have though.

So why don't you have and Xbone being changed for a X360? Or would you say it isn't even worth getting it in the first place?

Apparently, it doesn't count because the guy is driving through the track backwards.

You are too dumb to realise that the crowd is running to the audience just in time to see the car passing, silly people /jk.

I just got to that London reverse track in the career and thanks to this heads up I was looking at the stands and crashed. Yes the audience fades in, and then they're gone again when you look in the rear view mirror, big deal.
Brands hatch, Apricot hill and Willow springs at sunset are awesome, then I could recognize the constellations in the sky when it turned dark, new level of immersion achieved.
I love how many developers are around here...
Just because games have weather and night/day cycles, does not mean the game changes the car and asphalt specifications to match it like in the real world.
It is easy to show day and night... It is a much different story making a car simulator respond properly day/night and weather conditions in a real world way.
Games are still a trade-off of processing... Do you put the processing into tire physics or weather physics? Do you display extreme detail on a car or the entire environment?
Turn 10 focuses their processing on the car and not as much on the environment... Other games choose to focus on other things like day/night and weather... That's what makes each game unique from each other. And that is good for all gamers.
A perfect example is Minecraft... The processing of the game is more focused on its grandeur and creativity rather than focusing on managing pixels in the environment.
