Nope, the 3DS got a price cut 2 months before. This was right before 3D Land and MK7 released.. yeah it's quite a stupid article.

i'm sorry, you are correct about the price of the 3ds. but as i said before, no one could have reallly thought that the vita would have outsold the 3ds. People are so quick to dismiss Nintendo...

Actually I am asking more based on whether this site puts 2DS numbers in the 3DS slot or the DS slot...

On one side I say 2DS should be considered 3DS because it plays all 3DS games...

But, on the other hand it is really adding 3DS capabilities to the very popular DS series to keep it selling strong...

No, the only significant difference between the 3DS and the 2DS is the clamshell design and the 3D display. The underlying hardware itself (the processors, memory, etc.) is the same and significantly improved over the DS.
