wait, wait. is this for real? PS3 outsold 360 in america since january? if so good stuff for sony. does this mean 360 numbers will be lowered and ps3 numbers increased??? anyone?? this cant be real

Btw, you know, UK and US markets pretty similar in some way, i mean ps3 and x360.

And in January in UK ps3 started outselling x360, same happened to US market.

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

One thing to note is that NPD's Frazier said that SMG's lifetime was 2.7 million. If you do a 1.1 multiplier for Canada, you get 2.97 million which is only about 2.7% difference from the VGC LTD.

@fishy. How odd, is all that discrepancy from this week? (2.7% would be about 80k over so it can't be) Also didn't Canada have Galaxy as No1 ahead of CoD4 last month?
