What PS3 games have you played so those of us recommending games know what you have or haven't played and might bei interested in.
To make things easier, just list the games you've played without trophy support and then for the games with trophies go here, put your PSN name and update. Then link us the profile page so we can all see what games you've played and what trophies you've received with each game. This is an easy way to know what games you've beaten, how much you've played each game, etc. By doing so it'll give us a better idea of what games interest you.
have had the "U" since day one, and though the amazing value with the bundles out now hurts a tiny bit, I have zero regrets. Awesome system, now with a spectacular library of games and plenty more to come. I say, go for it!
PS3 has an enormous library WiiU will never match. Besides PS3 is RPG heaven, should you like that genre, it's still getting games released on it.

| AmericanAli said: Nevermind, so now where i finally got my ps4 i though about the future use for my ps3, and even though the Ps3 was my primarily choice for games this gen i started to doubt the future support for the ps3. Now there are games on ps3 i still want to play for example god of war: Acsension and south park: stick of truth. But beyond that there is not much as far as i know. So the Wii U started to look more and more promising to me as a SECONDARY homeconsole only for nintendo games for those who don't know: i love zelda, super smash, mario kart and i also would love to see a new metroid prime game on the wii U. However you get point right? I mean the ps3 won't be support too long while the Wii U is starting to get THE games, but that also means if i want to play some of my favorite ps exclusives like R&C,uncharted, god of war etc... |
Do you have or will get PS+ for the PS4? Then you also get some PS3 games every month, too.
Trade in the PS3 games you don't play anymore (some of them you will even get back per PS+), but keep the console.
As someone who collects his systems and never sells them I have to say no.
But if you are not sentimental and are down with it and can use that ps3 to offset your costs on a Wii U then sure.
I would advise against getting rid of the PS3. If you have spent a fair amount of time on that console and have a some favorite games it will always be worth it being able to go back 10 years from now and dust of the old future format to HDMI adapter and fire up an old friend. I've had consoles stolen and need to get rid of one because I moved between incompatible countries, and it sucks. Even if you think you're done with a console. Hang on to it and one day you will not regret it.
Heck, I even hang on to my PS2 even though I hate almost everything about it just because I've burned myself on getting rid of a console before.
That said, the Wii U is pretty damned sweet and I am pretty sure you won't regret getting one.
Get a WiiU, you can play your PS3 games on your PS4.

No, you can't.
| AmericanAli said: thanks for the advices you guys were giving me, but another concern i have with the wii u is: will the storage of 32GB be enough?! Especially if i get the zelda bundle which comes with a !Downloadeable! code for wind waker. How much space will a game take? |
It's not, you should buy an external drive, I very recently changed my HDD to SSD on it cause I'm crazy and things load only a tiny bit faster due to USB2 limitations hahaha, faster none the less. External drives are cheap on newegg these days anyways, especially during christmas times.
