PS4 we have numbers... the VGC numbers are inline with Sony numbers.
Now Xbone.
UK: 150k (170k after two weeks)
AUS: 66k
MS estimates (because they give D1 numbers before the D1 finished): 1 million in 24 hours
UK and AUS = 206k week 1
VGC shows 730k for US week 1.
730k + 206k = 936k
So we have ~100k for Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain and New Zealand? Tell me how these 730k for week 1 is right.
OVERTRACKED... 730k week 1 for US is improbable.
Maths don't lie.

Where? Example in first line...
"seems a bit high but I think the first weeks is a little high too"

You can align the date because PS4 is ahead (by a good margin) in both cases.

Except MS stated OVER 1 million sold in 24 hours. So your math lies.

How could math lie? MS is a commercial company, you can expect them to state things that are not entirely true, would be stupid to belive otherwise.
They made the announcement so soon after the launch of the Xbone that it wasn't possible for it to be correct. They were trying to get an announcement out there as fast as possible so people wouldn't think Sony was crushing them.
America has spoken. Say goodnight dick.

Not only that, but there was still what... 8 hours left of the day in the US when they actually released the numbers?
NPD will be fun no matter what. Were gonna see some big numbers!

it was reported as over a million within 24h, so this estimate of yours is based on the bare minimum.
besides you don't also base this on the "confirmed" yield issues.... right? right?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

And you mean to say that sony doesn't lie about their numbers? HA, who knows what they lied about..... i find this theory very one sided and weak
