Forums - Nintendo - Actually, Nintendo Knows Exactly What They're Doing

A. Conditioning takes time.
B. Conditioning takes mastering.
C. Nintendo doesnt have time for the wii u.

Cute thread... but no.

This is like when a father call home and say to the kid: I will bring a little something for you.

And the kid starts to think it is a big and cool present. Then the father gets home and give the kid a piece of candy.
It is not the father´s fault, it is the kid that is stupid. we are the kid, by the way.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I don't see the point in your post.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

Actually you are right, I was so naive on thinking Nintendo can do better than this. It's clearly that this is the same Nintendo that believes Wii Music is a big surprise and something everybody will like to have.

That's the biggest load of hog wash (or justification) I've ever heard. You want the truth, the bottom line....Nintendo can't produce the games as fast as they are consumed. That's it! That's the long and the short of it. They've never been able to keep up with demand, and each console cycle has only gotten worse for them in this respect. The worst of which has been the switch from SD to HD...which is why it took them so long to do so in the first place. They're development pipeline is broken, and could barely keep up during the SD gens. Now that games are in HD, and take EVEN MORE TIME to complete, it will continually get worse for Nintendo, and Nintendo fans alike.

Nintendo needs to find a way to complete their game ideas in a timely manner that's consistent with the consumers demands. I'm not condoning rushing unfinished games to market, but I am stating the fact that they are behind the 8-ball, and will never be able to catch up (unless something changes). This is the reason why Nintendo fans are drip fed game news and announcements at such a slow pace, that their fan base comes up with ridiculous logic such as the original poster of this thread to justify the lack of games/announcements. Nothing is ready....Nothing is close to ready....Anything that is finally ready gets delayed some more. Sad, but true. Unfortunately, this will make Nintendo home consoles a secondary machine to another console.

That was more or less the point. That they're basically playing for time by teasing reveals to keep the base engaged until they actually have something of substance to show.

I kinda see it. Over the years I've been noticing that the people at Nintendo tend to announced something major in a span of a year or more at a time

.One moment you hear people going "nintendo you disappoint me," to nitnendo you're awesome!" but I'm not entirely accurate on that.

Sans  the condescension I do disagree with OP as well. Nintendo honestly is just getting it's name out there and not thinking that far ahead and they need to sieze the moment. I think they did actually make a smart move though by only showing that DK footage contrary to popular belief. That award show was absolutely cringeworthy and anything Nintendo showed wouldn't have really benefitted them in any meaningful way. It would have in fact negated all of the positive feedback they've been building towards Nintendo direct.

Side note: I honestly will be shocked if there is one next year, that was so forced and so shallow. I mean man bring back X play. At least that had some personality.

goodjob trying to sound smart, you have 0 marketing mind.

The most important shopping: December is upon is. The least Nintendo should be doing is to generate hype for the WiiU. Have you not noticed even PS3/360 is outselling the WiiU? So you think Nintendo's actually smart to play a slow game and psychologically "reward" his consumers? right..

Well maybe Cranky kong can generate enough hype for the next year, and Nintendo can down a little the investors using that hype as proof of potential sales when holiday numbers for Wii U appears as lame as the rest of the year...

...ahahahaha.
