Forums - Nintendo - Game Informer Clarifies That Nintendo Will Show A Previously Announced Game At VGX

What do you think Nintendo will show?

Zelda U 88 31.32%

Smash 30 10.68%

Donkey Kong (trololololo) 70 24.91%

Mario 1 0.36%

X (Monolith Soft) 56 19.93%

Bayonetta 2 12 4.27%

New IP 12 4.27%

Crash Bandicoot... 6 2.14%

Total:275

A lot of people are saying X? Can I get your reasoning? I'm in NO shape, or form dissing it, but it's a JRPG and their audience are dude bros. In high school I talked about Tales of Vesperia at my lunch table, gamers there were all about Madden, and COD... Needless to say, they all laughed at me.

Oh my goodness Nintendo PLEASE don't bore the VGX audience with Tropical Freeze. Give us Smash!

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Nintendo can't possibly be stupid enough to show off Donkey Kong right? Especially after all the hype and build up.

Look at the design of the Wii U.

Look at their advertising of Wii U.

Look at the drought in the first half of 2013.

Look at the name "Wii U" itself.

The answer is yes, they are absolutely that stupid.

It's DKC; Nintendo only really start plugging their titles once they're two months or so away, which DK is now.

It could also be Mario Kart 8 or Smash Bros.

But it will NOT be Zelda.

I forgot about MK8... I'm thinking either Smash, DK, or MK8.

I hope it's not like the Wii Fit Trainer announcement where they got everyone at E3 hyped and crushed their dreams

When you make that any mistakes you'd think they'd learn something. Sigh, can't wait to play another platformer on WiiU. I didn't get enough with New Super Mario Bros U, Super Luigi U, Super Mario 3D Land, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World, etc.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I'm betting on Smash Bros. gameplay. I recall seeing only a few demos for it. This could be a good time to show the game in its fullest. Then again, that would be the right thing for Nintendo to do, so will they do it?

It will be just like that. Prepare yourself.

My thoughts on Smash is if they are releasing a 3DS version with a soon to be 40k+ install base, won't it take away from Wii U appeal?

If it is Donkey Kong expect a bad response.

If they go with that then no doubt about it Nintendo is completely out of touch.

Nintendo being out of touch is already well known; look at the last three years.

If that is the case then you would have expected them to seriously catch on by now.

If not and if indeed DK is the title... Reggie and Iwata need to go. Wii was a great success, but now they are hurting the company. (If DK is THE game they show, and I truly hope it is not.)
