How much does a digital download actually cost to giveaway?    the retail value isnt the actual value, particularly when its old stuff.


well, be it movies, games or tv shows, it's still got value, and i wouldn't let people give them away for free if i got the rights on it. It's a potential loss, not matter how you look at it.

There must be potentially a 100 million in there.

It sounds expensive but its really not that expensive when you compare in to the marketing budget. For example, there are loads of advertisements on TV for The Xbox One during primetime. The most expensive ad spot sells for $600K for a 30 second ad spot during Sunday Night Football on NBC and there have quite a few adverts for the Xbox One during it. So basically the total cost of 14000 consoles = 12 adverts during Sunday Night Football.

Burger Bar Hamburgers! And no.. I wouldn't eat at the McD even at 4:00 on a saturday when drunk.. We have or Turkish friends with their Kapsalons for that..
