Forums - Sales - PS4 behind WiiU in it's second week in NA? What's wrong?

maybe sony couldn't produce more than ~1m ps4 for this week ww two weeks after they already shipped 1m+ consoles to north america? just a guess but maybe nobody wants a ps4 (that's probably it lol)

just imagine what that means, shipping 2m+ consoles in 14 days. that was a lot of containers on freighters.

Jeez, dramatic much. It's obviously supply-constrained. Both of the new consoles are.

you already know the answer to that. It's very obvious.

Wii U is just so desired piece of a console.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Wii U overtracked once again.

Isn't it obvious? Supply .... The PS4 sold out is less than 25 minutes when it was restocked on Amazon this week.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Probably supply issues. But if this limited supply situation doesn't change in the next weeks, Sony might have a problem: if you can't buy something, well, you'll buy something else. XBone doesn't seem to be suffering this same limited supply situation, so it'll be interesting to see what happens in these next months.

^This, Sony missed an opportunity to really establish a strong foothold in NA by stock being low, hopefully the stock will be there by x-mas though, because the demand is REALLY high.

We're not talking about cheap day to day purchases here, someone would really need to have to wait a long time without being able to get a PS4 before he'd go and pay 100$ more for a console he originally didn't even want. The Wii was supply constrained for months and it didn't hurt it one bit.

They are on track for their 3 million by the end of the year goal though.

In addition to PS4 supply issues, Nintendo has also decided to actually try advertising the existence of the Wii U...
That might have helped too...

Have a nice day...
