I'm sure the European launch pulled most of their supply for BF week.
People would post anything to make an active thread.
The reason is Supply and it had been said quite a lot of times here.

Look, Nintendo is number one in 8th gen portables AND home consoles for weekly sales and overall sales. All else is irrelevant. Nintendo wins. Accept it.

Sony is launching PS4 in 32 countries this year while MS is releasing only in 13. I believe that's the cause of these supply issues in NA.
2 things; a better choice of games (I'm speaking as both a Wii U and PS4 owner) and supply.
