It's simply more anti Nintendo propaganda in the industry. Pay it no mind. It has been happening since the NES was launched in America in the mid 80s.. And it'll probably keep on happening for the forseeable future. It is as certain as death and taxes..

Its not propaganda. Nintendo is closing off itself to the industry and when the industry moves on without them they call them irrelevant. Why? Because essentially thats what they are making themselves seem like to certain types of gamers.

Nintendo is NOT closing itself off to the industry. It is the industry that is freezing out Nintendo.

I wouldn´t even blame the industry, because Nintendo is still somewhat popular among players. I´d blame the sick and childish videogame "media" or "journalism" for this supposed Nintendo freezing

Who do you think the gaming media speaks for?

I LOVE ICELAND!

People keep saying that if the Wii U was more powerful it would make it get 3rd party support. No.... and here is why.
te
For the past year it was the most powerful console on the market and it got some of the worst ports seen since the Ps3's launch. Not only that, but the games that were up to snuff from the 3rd party weren't even advertised....at all (Deus Ex, Most Wanted). Western 3rd party publishers want nothing to do with Nintendo's business practices when they can easily influence the ebb and flow of MS and Sony's.

This partly Nintendo's fault and their's as well. But it has nothing to do with power. That is correlative not causative.

It didnt matter that it was the most powerful for less than a year because the xbone and PS4 were just around the corner. Resources were aimed towards these two consoles.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

To be honest nothing would please me more than nintendo going bankrupt so i can play mario and zelda on my PlayStation.

The facts are even if people can afford more than one console they really dont want multiple systems cluttering up their house. I like Nintendo games but i do not believe they are worth the premium of the entry costs of the hardware.

Plus they should make stronger hardware. I fully believe had the Wii been as powerful as the ps360 we would have had another PS2 like gen on our hands.

Nintendos hardware is just too weak. Anyone who says otherwise is just being unrealistic. I said it ages ago, who will upgrade from a PS360 to a Wii-U? I cant think of a single reason why someone would do that. Its more like side stepping and losing your games library at the same time.

Nintendo are forcing devs to leave them behind. The gamecube got decent 3rd party support and sold less than the Wii. What did the gamecube have that the Wii didnt? Comparable hardware to other consoles on the market. The n64 doesnt count because it had carts when the industry clearly moved on to disks.

Your analogy about Sony is strange though because for 2 gens Sony has had the strongest hardware so it would be disappointing for Sony to back peddle onto weaker hardware.

Just my take on things

oh almost forgot. Nintendo should keep their handheld business going.

Some feathers have been ruffled.

I doubt most people that really want Nintendo to go 3rd party really care. They will A) continue to buy Nintendo products, or B) not continue to buy Nintendo products. Either way they will continue to have opinions which is a crime they should be castrated for.

Nintendo first has to release appealing first party games, so that the install base of the Wii U grows.

Then third-party companies should attempt to create content, and advertise correctly.

They're not doomed, we've all seen this before.

Yep.
