I repeat : I live in France and there is no ps4 anywhere ! The ps4 is sold out everywhere, i have to wait until February for having mine !

Well, these numbrrs are weak because there is clearly not enough ps4, don t be surprised .

well ouch at ps4's black friday sales (inference). really thought they would have gotten more than 300k to the US on that shopping orgy.

It's simple, there wasn't enough stock to sell and more!

The reason to the UK and US are so much higher in comparison to everywhere else is that those were the 2 Xbox dominated countries, so Sony would have focused on them to try and win them from Microsoft

So the breakdown is 1.4m Americas (90% US) and 700k elsewhere (250k UK)

Xbox One is 800k US and 330k elsewhere after its first week. They clearly held back a decent stock in America, but I don't think they'll have sold enough to get to 2.1m. They might be level in the US, but behind elsewhere

wow.. PS4 is beasting out and dominating all around the globe! and to think its yet to launch in the middle east, Africa and the rest of Asia on the 13th of December!!

Sony has truly learned from their mistakes and improved immensely and that demand with those astonishing figures proves it :D

I mean that the shipment was not enough to meet the demand. I had hoped for 1m in Europe alone.

Seems like those supply issues are really getting to them, 700k in all of EU isnt what anyone predicted. And only 300k for Black Friday is gonna get demolished by the Xbox supply.

Great numbers for Sony this holiday. PS4 WW launch > Xbone WW launch.

I don't know about undershipping because the console is a luxury item and many use the grey maket to buy it, I think my country got something between 1k and 2k units, you can easily find it available and we are 45 million people, maybe Brazil and Chile got big shipments, but it would not be rare if LATAM only got 50k units for the launch.

That's the way the cookie will crumble until MS shape up and offer better affordable bundles - the ones without the kinect thrown in which most likely greatly inflates the price to ensure that the console breaks even.

The way people see it, ps4 is £80 cheaper in uk, yeah if you look closely it works out close to that if you throw move in, but don't think majority really want motion controls beyond what Wii offered.
