I am happy for the people that really enjoy the experience that Microsoft brings to the gaming industry. I am glad that they are looking to have a viable platform for Microsoft to publish great exclusive software for.

On the other hand I am disappointed for the people that jump on board to play lesser versions of Madden, battlefield, and call of duty while paying a higher price.

Preferably for me, XBO will sell well enough to keep Microsoft in the business, but little enough to have the majority of the aaa development community focused on bring more optimized games and more exclusive games to PS4.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

KBG29 on PSN&XBL

I wouldn't get too excited about either console yet. The Wii U sold fairly well at launch too. Hopefully this time next year we can say this about both consoles.

Good thing for gamers as a whole but weird in another way.

RIP ps3, xbox360.

welcome home ps4 and X1

selling 1m is good, but xbox one got is 1m from selling world wide, the PS4 got its 1million from only north america, the rest of the world figures will come through in a week or two following EU launch etc. The PS4 figures will be insane.

I want the xbone to fail the industry only needs one great console like in the days of PS2. it wil cut out the exclusives crap and MS are very cynical to customers

Anyone wishing for a console to fail, in my view is not a gamer in any sense. For a gamer, the experience should be the most important thing, and then you should only be happy that others can have their own, unique experiences. Those hoping for the failure of X1 only show that they live on the competitions mistakes, not their preferred consoles own merits.

In a way yes because sony will continue to make top class exclusives in fear of losing to xbox.
on the other hand MS will be there to make turn third party games into exclusive every now and then and continue to enforce the timed exclusive strategy that divides gamers....and that bad habit has sadly spread to sony now as well.

If sony is the only succesful company you will see a decrease in customer service, and overall quality from them. the more succesful the compitition the more everyone brings their A game and the better it is for gamers on all sides because of it.

Look at Madden for instance. they got the NFL licence removing all competition from football game sales and the game got real mediocre real fast. thanks to nba live failing the same is happening to the 2k series, it's like they arent trying anymore because they don't have to.

Well, with microsoft having built of a ton of studios of their own in a process that largely began during the x360 generation, I'm sure we'll see the results this generation.

After all, microsoft did get into the console business a good while and oen generation after sony entered.  Seeing a top-class team like 343i built from the ground-up by microsoft, I'm fairly confident they can do the same with their other studios.

Anyone who is happy about the Xbox One doing well is a fanboy imo. Without Xbox around there would be nobody around to keep Sony in check, the market needs competition.

Anyone happy about the sales is a fanboy?
