ofcourse they try to fool people into thinking this was the console, but for legal reasons they even say it's only the box, so people who do get fooled can only blame themselves

yeah that is a "trick" since some people are so excited that they don't really read everything. they just see "xbox one" and think "damn, that price is nice" and believe they just bought the console.

Selling boxes even outside of launch actually is pretty normal. You'll be able to get higher prices for your console on eBay etc. if you sell it with the original box.

You need the box to fool people into thinking they get a Xbox One for christmas when there is actually a PS4 inside.

ewww either they have money to blow and lots of it or their just stupid either way I'd rather just buy a PS4.

I still have my Dreamcast box, will never sell it.

I know someone that got into a bidding war for a sofa and was really pleased when they bagged it for the bargain price of £130 plus £5 postage. Not so pleased when it arrived and was only 3 inches long. I laughed heartily for days about it.

My guess is that they're people who just didn't bother to read the listing and thought they were getting an X-Box One for a steal.
