I also noticed some stores have PS4 and some have Xbox One in my area as well. Not a lot as stock is limited but with the 360 and PS3 being so low priced, I think those would be moving more. Besides they have way better gaming library and way cheaper so only early adopters will go for PS4/XOne since neither of them will be on fire sale.

I don't know how anyone could read that from what I wrote, but what the heck. I have played the one and was quite impressed. I only want great things for the console. This is no doom thread.

Selling a million units on day one is often the kiss of death.

Personally, I anticipated the X1 would be easy to find given its price. However, I'm glad to hear many stores are actually selling out.

Ok so this post was made at 4am central. Who is out shopping for an Xbox One or PS4 at 4am. If you were out at this time it was for deals. Would like to know what Microsoft store this was as well.

Well my local shop is sold out (X1 and PS4)

Granted they had received only two Xbox One, and one PS4 pun not intended. One.

There were so few consoles on my local shops overall; and only on pre-order. the concept of next gen here is like a distant dream...
