GTA san andreas is still the best in the series. Followed by GTA V, Vice City and IV

I know I'm late on this, but that's the ironic thing about it. All these marks who started with COD4 and claim that the series has never been the same since don't realize they're the ones who antagonized Activision's subsequent business practice in the first place lol.

Anyway, I'm gonna say San Andreas. Most of the Vice City love seems to stem from nostalgia-faggery. Don't get me wrong, it used to be my original favorite, but then I slowly realized it was just a glorified expansion pack to GTA3.

GTA V!!! Hands down, it's the first franchise I play all of its entries, and I can only say V is the best. Liberty City Stories was also great at that time in a handheld, San Andreas comes close.
