i think releasing it for 3ds isn't a good idea i mean dont they want wii u sales?

They're different enough, and the handheld/console experience is different enough that it shouldn't be too much of a problem. 

seems really early, I expect MK8 around that time, SSB in Q3. Would be awesome if true though, will be picking up both 3DS and WiiU versions

DK, Mario Kart and Smash in less than four months almost seems like too much, but perhaps Nintendo thinks this is the best way of wresting some momentum back from the PS4 and XB1, that is before they have time to properly establish their libraries.

If those three titles are all out before E3,  it makes you wonder what they have planned for the latter half of the year.

This would (almost) guarantee Zelda U by next year, because with Smash, DKC, and Mario Kart all out by the first half of the year, what would be the big gun for holiday 2014?

I doubt they would release both versions on the same day.
Could see the 3DS version releasing near the end of 2014, though. Don`t know if there`s a bigger title than that for 3DS, for next year.
