DS had no sticks and had quite a few FPS. Controls aren't the problem, as someone else already mentioned before. In fact, if anything, controls are the main reason anyone would put a FPS on 3DS: aiming with the touchscreen is, IMO, better than any other method other than Mouse+Keyboard.

I would prefer a second analog stick. Moving the camera view with stylus and bottom touch screen seems so clunky to me.

Have you ever played a FPS on the DS? Considering you are holding the console the right way(using the pinky finger to balance the right side of the system so you don't get hand cramps), it's quite possibly the most precise aiming system ever created outside of using a mouse. It's also quite intuitive, I mean, the moment I got to play Prime Hunters(which was my first DS FPS) I was already aiming correctly at targets easily. Can't say the same for analog aiming or even IR aiming(which is miles better than using an analog, IMO).

Ok, recommend me a good DS or 3DS shooter to try it out. It just don't seem right to me to control a shooter like this. Maybe i'm wrong though.

I'd recommend playing Metroid Prime Hunters before anything else, or any of the Call of Duties, if that's your thing. Those are the best implementations of touchscreen aiming you can get on the handheld. Just make sure you don't hold the console with only one hand and you'll have a great experience playing these games.
