Vita TV did better than I expected, though it remains to be seen if it will actually be a success.

Wonder how VGC will track it.

Also, something funny - Call of Duty Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Battlefield 4 are all in the JP top 10. Is this the first time ever that 3 Western games have been in the JP top 10 at the same time?

They will. The very first trailer they showed was in English, so it was aimed at an international audience. I don't see much future for the thing though TBH.

OT: worse than I expected for GE2 and better than I expected for VitaTV. I can't wait till PS4 release here to see how the market reacts to it.

It's the second time. First time was price cut + Soul Sacrifice.

Wasn't the Wii U right around 15k last week too? Also, the holiday sales boost starts later in Japan than in the other markets, so it isn't out of the ordinary to see weekly hardware sales being stagnant or even dropping during weeks with no noteworthy new releases.


18k > 16k. I know the holiday boost kicks in later, but in the west it (slowly) kicks in late October/early November. Would have thought we'd be seeing smalls signs by now.
