Whats to criticize? something that looks this fun and pretty for 20 bucks? No brainer investment..

Fighters are part of the base of any gamer from arcade to snes/genesis' roots.

Hopping something is bad is just sad though. I would not have anymore fun with my xbox knowing ps4's are exploding everywhere........

  1. Thread is a bragging thread talking about Killer Instinct reviews.
  2. Kylie points out that the reviews, while promising, arent exactly anything spectacular when compared to other fighters. 
  3. Selnor calls Kylie desperate for saying the game isnt really reviewing that well, brings up a PS game. Doesnt really try argue with Kylies point.
  4. Kylie gives his reasoning and says that a lack of content isnt a good thing.
  5. Selnor mocks him and baits him with the good old "jealousy of not having it" thing. Totally ignores the previous reasons anf brushes them off as him trying to "downlay how awesome KI is".
  6. Kylie gets quite clearly pissed off at arguing with someone you cant argue with. Says he doesnt like the direction theyre taking KI and hipes the next game is back to how he thinks the series should be.
  7. Selnor continues to ignore any criticism and brushes it off. Continues to bait Kylie, calling him an Xbox fanboy and trying to be funny.
  8. Selnor got banned.

This is a public forum based around videogames. KD quite clearly has an interest in the series/genre and thus his opinion on the game, the direction the game is going and other games in the genre is a valid opinion, his criticisms are valid criticisms.

Absolutely, not just based on this thread. He always goes into threads just to bother people with interest different than his own.

KD has made it clear he has no interest in this game, he wants it score low, and he appears to have no interest of actually playing. That's trolling in my book.

Looking at his PSN Profile, he spends countless hours with games score even worse. A guy that spends so much time with bad games should be a little less critical about other peoples interests.

Eh? Trolling? Nope.

KD was on topic, he explained his opinion and was civil throughout. 

From the rules -

  • You always have the right to express your opinion, as long as it is relevant to the thread topic, and you do so in a civil manner, justifying what you say. If you want to discuss something other than the thread topic, make your own thread.

 

Again, the forum is for people to express an opinion. Not all people will have the same opinion and a negative opinion has just as much right to be here as Selnor's contant, overblown hype and excitement for anything Xbox related.

There is no doubt that Killer Instinct lacks content and its one of the primary reasons why scores are so "low". Not every review has been full of praise, while certain reviews have had nothing but praise. Mixed bag. Not a full game yet good enough to buy at some point.
