Forums - Microsoft - Dead Rising 3 Gets a 10/10

100

If it’s a true “next-generation” game you’re after, look no further than Dead Rising 3. Capcom Vancouver’s gory, over-the-top zombie thriller is a technological masterpiece that amply showcases the power of Microsoft’s new Xbox One console. But more importantly, it’s also immensely and outrageously enjoyable.

yeah I saw that didn't read the review yet.... but I doubt this is an unbiased review.... or if it is, it is most likely from a non gaming journalist who just really enjoyed the game.....

so does the x1 get the first 10? lol yeah probably not a great review i dont think this game is a 10

This is, in fact, what “next-gen” should be all about. It isn’t just more graphical fidelity – Dead Rising 3 looks great too, to be sure – it’s about games that are more immersive and draw more emotion out of their players.

LOL Globe and Mail.......

Sorry, I'm from Toronto, this newspaper is very very biased when it comes to....well everything.

A perfect score by the globe and mail in toronto?! Good god, call everyone.

I've seen a few reviews and while the game is good, none of them agree that is a perfect 10. Apparently the story is the biggest drag, they tried to be more serious and lost the whacky humor that the franchise is known for.

Well... I think its a very credible source.

completely agree 100% with that statement and that's why the resolutiongate and the extra power that might give the edge graphically to the PS4 never worried me and has very little value in my eyes... I still think the XB is a way better investment all around when it comes to innovation in games much like the Wii and WiiU and even over PC gaming.... I know for a fact that I would have more fun playing the same game on XB than on PS4 or PC, just on features and services the XB has.... so for exclusive games leveraging those features even more I can deal with a few extra pixel on the competition... this is not why I buy a console... and we will still get better graphics than current/old gen....
