I don't know why, but you've made my day. That's just ... it makes me want to give you some candy or something. I can't stop giggling. That poor PC, it has so little to offer besides gaming. They really need to make it so that it has other functions and abilities. |
ease of use is shit on PC... it has been for 2 decades.... OS X did a little step forward but it's getting really old and win 8.1 an other one but people are still stuck with the old desktop shitty outdated configuration which is barely still good for work and that's it (whu do you think tablet and smartphones are eating up the PC market??? it's not the price Ipads and a lot of high end smartphone are more expensive than basic PCs that do just as much and more)
It is a complete pain to have a PC to enjoy multi channel of entertainement easily and conveniently.... unless maybe if you are a major nerd and build a custom OS and UI based of linux..... and even then maybe if you hook up a tactil pad to it like some HTPC set ups I have seen... but then again you have to be a major nerd to even come close to the convenience and ease of use of console on a PC....
I have 5 different OS running at home (OSX, win8.1, win7, linux ubuntu, linux suze) and had many more experience with other os from debian to freebsd to mint etc... and with custom build hardware from the 300 bucks shitty laptop to the 3k+ power house gaming rig and HTPC non of which come close to a console when it comes to entertainement consumption in a nice easy to use package and I'm not even starting with price when you see how much kinect cost for a PC and how unpractical legacy software is compare to apps and controll input... like I want a keyboard and mouse in my living room to just play music, videos or even play games..... I ain't a PGA athlete I could care less about accuracy of controls with a 200 bucks adjustable mouse to have the edge on the 12 year old that is kickong my ass in MP.... and having 4k pixel res on a 30 inch display or even 3 all alone at a desk compare to seating in front of a 1080p 65 inch display in my living room with my massive 5.1 set up with my friends and familly beats it....
so yeah PC for entertainement sucks big time unless you are a major nerd or like to waste time and money for not much....

I'm sorry but to me, a game that runs at 1280x720 on a "next gen" system and drops as low as 18 fps with textures popping up everywhere, is a broken game that shouldn't have released at all. But if you can live with that, kudos to you.

If it’s a true “next-generation” game you’re after, look no further than Dead Rising 3. Capcom Vancouver’s gory, over-the-top zombie thriller is a technological masterpiece that amply showcases the power of Microsoft’s new Xbox One console. But more importantly, it’s also immensely and outrageously enjoyable.

Really, now we can add this website to the reviewers who got paid by Microsoft.
Just remember their KZ 6/10 review when they barely said the graphics were nice. But no the real next-gen game is DR3 and that deserves a 10/10. 720p20fps with drops to 10fps-ish (just look the DF analysis) is the real next-gen for them. I almost think that this review is a parody, but no, it is real.
Also the Polygon 7.5/10 reviewer has not been disturbed by the 20fps average fps with drops to 15fps. Polygon did score 0.5 PS4 COD lower that others consoles cause he supposedely found rare framerate drops on PS4 version. I don't say you have to rate lower because of framerate but you have to be consistent or you are unfair. The joke continue.
At last The USgamer 8/10 score, twice the score of Killzone. But why 4/10? because the reviewer said (really)
Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer is solid, enjoyable
and Leabetter said the best SP campain on PS4 was Killzone. Well, no reason but it is 4/10. Well I can see a reason: X1 games have to score better than PS4 -> twice better if possible.
The new Microsoft Trinity: Polygon, USgamer and now The globe and mail.
What ?
The game looks worse than some last gen efforts on ps3. I give kudos to the ammount of shit happening at once on the screen, but still, this game could very well be on the x360 for all it is.

Same can be said about a lot of 8th gen games.
In fact, a lot of them are 7th gen games.
