It really sold that little in EU?

why is it some gametrailers guy? did xbox release a public message too? if so what was the exact wording?

If XBO sold over 1Million in 24 hours that pretty good, not as good as Sony doing it in one region but good none the less. Now we have to see how EU reacts once PS4 hits on Black Friday.

Anyone know how many EU countries total PS4 is releasing in?

This seems to be Sony's mantra as far as selling in every territory. Like I said in OP, every gamestop that I know of had 1/3rd to 50% more PS4s than XBOs for launch day. I know that both console shipments are being saved for black friday. Right now we have 3 times as many PS4s for that day and I expect that ratio to stay in place.

Its really just a numbers game at the moment, and Sony has them in their favor. I don't have proof of this but I imagine EU numbers everywhere are just as slanted in PS4's favor as far as each area's allotments. Impossible for MS to do better if Sony is putting way more out and selling out each time. 

The mind share of this alone, that "Everyone is getting PS4 it seems.....I should get one" is really setting into the common consumer's mind.

Side Note: Here is some more anecdotal customer interaction that happened again yesterday.

Customer: "Here to pick up my XBO! I know its going to be the best!"

Phone rings, I answer: "Sorry, no we are still out of PS4s."

Continue ringing up her purchase a bit longer....phone rings again

Me: "Sorry we are still out of PS4s, No prob....have a nice day"

Customer: "Wow....so the PS4 is doing pretty well. Why is everyone asking about that? I figured everyone would be getting XBO."

So I explain:" Well every console generation is different, new ideas become trendy and whats hot changes over time. PS4 is also cheaper"

Customer: "It is? Well thats ok, XBO is probably more powerful right? Sweet!"

Me: "Ha....well......no. As far as Technical specs go, the PS4 is more powerful"

Customer: "What? Really? Why is XBO cost more?"

Me: "Mostly the added cost is due to the Kinect, which gives the console its swift speach and motion capabilities."

Customer: "Oh, that makes sense...... and PS4 can't do that right?"

Me: "Well....actually it can to an extent. XBO's speech/motion capabilities are going to be a bit better but most of them the PS4 can do or will be able to do at a future date"

Customer: "Huh...... But PS4s not gonna have games like COD and BF right? Thats why most people had 360...."

Me: "Thats actually a common misconception. You see those games are something known as 'Multiplat' meaning they are on both consoles. Some games just get exclusively advertised for one console or the other, or sometimes one gets exclusive dlc. Only real difference other than that is graphics/performance and while 360 had the edge in that last gen, PS4 will more than likely hold it this time due to better specs"

Customer" Well what the hell?! I should ask my boyfriend why we are getting XBO then. If its cheaper, more powerful, does and plays most of the same games....just makes more sense, right?"

I chuckle: "THAT is completly up to you mam..."

Still shocked to this day that most people that buy consoles and games have no idea what they are talking about.

Well we kinda already knew MS was behind on console development. Their assembly of the console assuredly started after Sony's. Also there were some rumors floating around NeoGaf that yield issues were stifling their outputs.

I didnt mean the black friday week in fact, but this week ( 18-22 november) , you had supplies allocated to this week ? Or have you to keep the supplies for black friday next week ?
