Forums - Sony - ps4 issues?

Polygon just had theirs crash to safe mode on their live stream. It worked fine after that.

apparently he disconected the power cable while downloading an update for BF4, so it bricked

Holy batman balls about people making a big deal out of this.
Inb4 VGC crying doom and gloom.

A few people report problems = dead on arrival.

You guys gotta stop being so naive, technology is NEVER perfect, whether you buy it at launch or wait a year. Potential to run into problems is still there.

Can't wait to pick up my ps4 tomorrow night.

But this is user stupidity. It shouldn't even count as faulty hardware

So polygon, kotaku and ign had trouble with their ps4s.....
Gamesradar said theirs was really hot even when not gaming.

I am actually worried about this. If my ps4 is broken until when would I get a replacement??.... January?

No surprise for a launch system, they were bound to break. How many people still have a working 60Gb unit that never had any problems?

Mine works perfectly.  Had to replace the fan twice though.

Systems nowadays should handle it while downloadin. Whilst applying an update is a different thing but there are systems which can even handle that.
