Xbox One will win his gen?

No, you are crazy! 138 30.20%

PS4 for the Win! 211 46.17%

Nah it's the Wii U who will win this gen! 41 8.97%

Definitely the Xbox One! 67 14.66%

Total:457

Your logic is daft. Ps4 has won...pre order sign ups. to win the console gen they will need casuals. If you don't see how cool the Kinect is for families globally....eh, ok. just look what it does and look at the fan boys words after they try it. Clearly you don't play games all day because you are here spreading propaganda. Yes, it is true. I for one don't play games all day, due to work and the gym, and kids and so forth yet I'd wager I'd destroy you guys at your game of choice because while I'm working you are here so we have similar hours in gaming. I look forward to X1 skyping with family and friends, updating my fantasy teams, watching t.v., watching you not gaming trolling others who are, play cds, mp3 downloading, and playing games from PC, ps4, Wii u, all on my X1. When word of mouth gets out loads of folks will see how snapping and the X1 will likely even appeal to the Japanese too. The X1 should at least double its market share in Japan, which is a win by its self.

Just because you chose to quote a famous dead person does not mean that you are some type of intellect nor does it mean that the quote in question is correct.

talk about thread backfire

I thought this was a Selnor thread.

OT: It's possible even though MS is still the underdog here.

This thread is hilarious. Does the OP not understand why the playstation has been, and will continue to be the most dominant console brand in gaming history. Its all about market share (sony competes and wins the majority of the 3 markets microsoft cannot), and longevity we all know after the 3 year mark microsoft sputters out whereas sony continues to roll out titles, and support their system 7-10 yrs on average.

crazy talk. last gen MS everything go for it. best situation possible. IT STILL LOSE.
this gen everything ps4 so MS not have chance. sorry.

In what way did it "lose"? The original Xbox didn't have too big of a fanbase, then the Xbox 360 grew the fanbase tenfold. That's an accomplishment in my book

losing a closer race still loser.

When the consoles are this close, it comes down to who sold more games and who made more money with their product. That is Xbox 360 winning with a huge gap in software sales and a huge gap with Xbox Live sales

nintendo win profit, sales. remove goggles pls.

I never denied that Nintendo won. I'm describing that Xbox did not lose.

Sony has literally said that their big studios have moved to only the PS4. PS3 will not have support from them.

Ps3 has already had greater support from ps2. Also, third parties, especially in japan, will still be supporting it for years.

Perhaps you minsunderstood what i was saying im referring to the average console life/support for sony vs microsoft historically.  Not how many years after the console cycle is over, and as such thus far its been 7-10 years for sony vs 3-5 years for microsoft on average.

Well if you want to nit pick about things than Technically Microsoft didn't stop supporting Xbox 1 until 2010 when Xbox Live supported ended for the console, the last game for Xbox 1 was also sent out in 2009. This would indicate to me that Microsoft DID infact support Xbox 1 for 9 years and Xbox 360 is still going.

Hate to burst that little bubble there.

How about we take alook at this from any approach you want and the answer will be the same. Nintendo and Microsoft went from 20 - 25 million lifetime sales to 100 million and 80 million plus, whilst Sony crashed and burned turning an incredible market share into equal and lesser marketshare with its two competitors.

What happens next gen no one will know, however, logic is fairly simple and 100% available for anyone to see.

I dont even where to start with this ridiculousness. Nintendo's success was an anomaly based on price and marketing, and we seen how long that lasted about as long as Microsoft's lead.  Who btw had a year head start over both consoles and a 18 month lead time in europe, and Sony with a more expensive system came back and beat them (talk about embarrassing).

Until microsoft can compete outside of the us they will always lose its just a matter of the numbers.  Also for clarification when i say support im talking about continuing to put out and sale hardware and software at a consistent level which they didn't do in either iteration of their console cycles. They screwed over people who bought the original xbox after 3 years cause they wanted to get the drop on sony this gen, and as a result they put out faulty hardware and screwed their supporters again and like last gen they started to peter out cause they dont have the fanbase or studio support like sony does its in the numbers look it up.
