So, your posting a thread(which I had read) as your proof?

I asked you to prove it.  Show me how it's working for you or someone out in the real world, not some PR BS.  You don't know if it isn't the developer that stopped this from working.  No one knows, that is the real point.  This whole thread is about a game not working on a console that is not released yet.  It will be proven out on launch

Wow... the denial is strong with you. It's been said time and again by sony that you don't require internet to play the system starting from day 1. How we know that it wasn't activision is because that is impossible unless you think they sent out ninja assassins in the middle of the night

I searched, and couldn't find the ninjas part.  :)

I know that's what Sony said.  Microsoft just said the same thing, the game isn't working for some other reason besides DRM.  You seem to take Sony at its word, but when M$ says it isn't DRM you don't believe it.  Just proves the point that I made initially.  No matter what M$ says, people will jump to whatever conclusion they want to justify their hate.  This isn't about which console you own, this is simple bias.

Probably because Penello has a history of damage control and being caught lying. He knew there was a resolution difference in CoD but acted like he had no information. He said MS never got a chance to explain their DRM policies. Not only that but at first MS said they needed the day 1 patch to remove the DRM. THEN all of a sudden its a "oh no this day 1 patch has been planned all along." MS has done nothing but confuse, spin, lie or have been mistaken with almost everything.

We know it isn't activision like you claim because there is no way Activision could control the system being offline. The only explination someone gave is the OS expiring which sounds like a stupid way of doing things and I'm suspicious of. On top of that the dude got the OS and ALL the features of the OS. Yet, somehow we are suppose to believe that the system doesn't ship with an OS and 500mb is all it takes for all the nifty things they have

It is a thread about a guys that was playing CoD without any issues but get banned from Live and after one day his console can't play CoD anymore... it is related to the console... not the game.

DRM is on two weeks before the release.

This is a thread about a guy running the Beta version of the operating system on a console that hasn't been released yet.  For some reason, his game isn't working.   That is all we know.  We don't know if the 500mb update that he did actually loaded a test version of the software that wasn't compatible with the retail version of CoD or what.  We will never know.  If his problem persists after he gets the final software update intended for the launch, then we know that the shit will hit the fan.  DRM is not proven at all, that is your conclusion based on literally no facts.  My car quit running a few weeks ago, was that DRM too?

Stop... Activision have wizards that can disable your offline play when they wanted

So, the short answer is YES, you have a bias.  Sony and Nintendo have day 1 patches on their systems.  The WiiU has one and it has been out for over a year.  The guy downloaded a beta version of the software.  We don't know what was in his download or what it does.  Activision can control a system if it is offline, by downloading something to it when it was online.  This whole argument brings us to the same point - We don't have ANY idea what is causing the problem for this guy.  You can guess what makes sense to you without knowing any actual facts.  I am doing the same thing.  So, at the end of this thread, all thatr we will have done is proved that nobody here knows anything about the actual problem that this guy is having.

He was playing the game with the update... it is a secret... a day after the Live ban (when the console do the checkin) it stopped to work.

But of course the Magical Ponies from MS/Activision just bunerd his CoD copy... not related with internet online checkins.

PS. My avatar was choose in honor to the Xbox fans in this site.

And all this time I thought it was ninja assassins.

MS has the ninja assassins team

If I read correctly it's because the updates currently are not ready for the console - happens when you get a console too early, it seems. They are talking about Xbone updates and game updates so inferring anything now from the current to the future is only guessing.
