The guy was playing Call of Duty online and offline before he got banned. And after he got the ban, he was able to continue playing offline. And then his console bricked the next day.

The "OffLine Play Enabled" in the box of this game makes me think that all the arguments about Xbone online policies were pointless since developers will implement this type of DRM regardless.  It's only a matter of time.

BTW MS did a deal with this guy... they promissed they will remove the ban if the guy didn't talk about the UI (the deal is only about the UI)... what they want to hide before the launch?

He could play it before and after the ban. But his firmware update has expired and now he cannot do that anymore.
