I think black friday was "this week" last year which is why there was that boost and then drop the following week where this year we will get the boost next week. I think last year's setup was a little better for hardware sales because the x-mas/black friday sales didn't overlap as much.

Aaah I wasn't aware that BF is NEXT week; being a European means you're kinda ignorant ;)

Im updating now, last year same week was Black Friday meaning next week should favor 2013 by alot!

I'm thinking this is the 3DS' peak year, I still don't understand how so many people can think it'll outsell the DS. There's just no way.

Wont outsell it? Definetly not in this time and age lol. I do see 3DS doing 100mil this gen, possibly up to 110-120mil lifetime but no more!

Did more than i thought this week. Was always going to be down on last year because of black friday. The gap will be in this years favour once next weeks numbers are in. I think 750k for next week minimum.

643k last year? This year it definitely wont be under 800k, im hoping for a mil+

I hope your right. I tend to over predict normally so now predict lower so i can be pleasantly surprised.

You forgot about all the full 3D movies coming to the 3DS & 3DS XL, and that the 3DS is no-glasses 3D.
