Yeah I think it boils down to how many systems were made available. I don't think there will be a ps4 or xbox one just sitting on a shelf for a little while.

Well he mentions two extremes 'flopping' and 'annihilating'. The defintion of both can be subjective. His post also doesn't rule out the possibilty of one console comfortably outselling the other.

Really though im not even sure why this is news or why it is being posted.  Out of the 1000s of gamestops one store said mine was 150:30.  What about the other couple 1000 stores?  This is probably one of the more ridiculous thread titles ive seen made into news. Completeley irrelevant title

This will be the ratio in more Gamestop stores... some will be tied or with Xbone slightly above but that's it PS4 have way more supply than Xbone.

You don't think the $100 difference is the biggest reason?  The PS3 at $499-$599 was high priced but it was still supported by its fanbase.  Not as much as the 360, but it was never too far off and it's always been the higher priced console.  I think there are a lot of people out there where price matters over brand and then there are those that might keep the PS4 as their multiconsole system with it being more powerful, us knowing what we know now. 

With how good of a job Microsoft did at brainwashing people into thinking Xbox Live is better just because they're paying to use online, something that's no small number, these people are sure to stay loyal to Microsoft and will get an Xbox One before the PS4 and may never get a PS4.  So the Xbox One definitely won't lack in any sales, it's just going to be second place to the Playstation I think.    

there seems so much demand for both consoles now that if they were both priced at 500$ they would still sell out. the price now wont make much of a difference because right now there are enough people willing to spend the extra 100$ on the xbox one. 

the price will matter early next year and after when launch hype dies down a bit. right now launch hype is making these consoles sell, with the 100$ difference in price the xbox one will sell out, so it decreasing its price wont make microsoft sell any more.

He didn't talk about one store alone... he said that saw only one store with a bit more Xbone preorders and on avg. PS4 preorders are way high than Xbone preorders... he have access to at least his region.

You will be surprise because MS didn't have enough units for a 500-800k first day.

To this GameStop Manager replied: "That is for my store. On avg there have been more PS4's than XB One pre orders. some stores may have more Xb's than PS4's but from what I saw not by much."

i clearly state it is in his store, how is it misleading? i just copy pasted it the article and put it "in his store" part to clarify. its pretty clear if you ask me.
