Looks pretty good. It also looks pretty good as a game. Doubt I'll get it though, the very first Assassin's Creed probably ruined my taste for the series forever.

Comparison between X360 and WiiU, don't know if that's posted anywhere here on VGC. Looks pretty much the same, but slightly in favor of the WiiU. I don't know how it stacks up to the PS4One versions though...

Yes, it was. Sold about 180k. Not wholly terrible on such a small userbase bot likely just enough to justify a port. It's good of Ubi to bring Black Flag to the Wii U none the less.

I may have to eat some crow here, I predicted Ubisoft's typical laziness would result in another straight 360 port without graphical enchancements. Digital foundry may be able to shed some light...

As someone who dislikes the AC series and has never before purchased one, I am buying this for Wii U. A freaking Pirate simulator is something I've wanted to play since I was a kid, and it looks leaps and bounds ahead of its mediocre predecessors.

It is a good port, but it is still exactly that, a port. Not 100% sure but most reports seems to point to a x360 port as well.

Watch Dogs will be a PC port and will give a better indication of the wii u power.

With good ports hard to come by on Nintendo home consoles this is a step up.

Yes. the story of the Assassin you will understand it. but not the story of desmond miles, it doesnt make sense anyways. just to clarify, the main story is supposably about a guy called desmond miles who can access the memory of his ancestors through a machine called the animus. the story of the game is actually the story of the Assassins and you play most of the game (around 95% of it) with the Assassins character and you dont need to have played the previous games to understand the Assassins Character. however you should play AC1 to 3 to understand  desmonds story, but ill tell you this, desmond is a douche, a huge one. and his story is utter shit that makes no sense what so ever. just ignore it because i do and i played every installment so far.
