If there was a resolution difference in 360/PS3 games, I sure didn't notice. I thought it was just small framerate differences in some games and some sharper textures in others. Better sparks and grass, etc.

Yup.

But for games, a silky-smooth framerate should always take priority. I agree.

Whether or not you care is one thing, but I completely agree, it is completely noticeable. Anyone who says otherwise isn't paying attention or is just lying to themselves.

Pretty good card. Will play COD: Ghosts in 1080p. Better cards are coming next year. So it is better to wait but every year brings better cards i guess. Upgrade when Witcher 3 comes out as that seems your kind of game (monsters and beasts as such :O). That is if you are not getting PS4Bone. 

Is AMD 280 the card that everyone is talking about right now? The one who beats Titan in some games? Or is that AMD 290?

How much costs?

Agree too. Better framerate helps with the gameplay but then people can't make threads like these...

The lengths people go in denial for a games console is scary lol. People are still arguing the x1 versions look better despite mnot a shred of evidence and every site who has played both say the ps4 version is CLEARLY the better looking of the 2.

It really is incredible. First we had denial about the power of the PS4, then we had denial about both console being more or less the same, and now the power of the PS4 has been proven, we see denial of 1080p over 720p. These people need to wake up.

That would be AMD 290X. Priced around US$550-600.
