Wii U News: February 12, 2014

Mutant Mudds Deluxe sells better on the Wii U than on Steam or PlayStation.
Super Mario 3D World gets nominated for a bunch of awards.
Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation has mixed feelings about Nintendo.
In the first full week of February, the Wii U sold over 7000 units in Japan. A drop from last week, yes, but a smaller one than those had by other platforms.

3DS news of 12/02/2014:

Media Create: 3DS is best selling hardware (who else would it be?) with 48k units. And the software chart is handled by DQM2 with 443k sales (0.0). Then there's Puyo Puyo Tetris with 44k, Yokai Watch (dem legs) with 28k, Kirby with 24k, PDZ with 16k, and Pokemon X/Y closes the Top 10 with 12k units. Lower there's ALBW and Monster Hunter 4. (There's so much more to cover with the 3DS)
Yeah, Wii U has good sales, but for Mutant Mudds, the 3DS is king!
Kirby Triple Deluxe in May according to GameStop...
Nintendo Direct tomorrow! News on games releasing on Spring, so Kirby and Yoshi's Island, and any other thing. Maybe some news for Miiverse, and Iwata talked about price in the sales meeting, so hopefully somthing about the eShop. Also, indies! And for (I know I'm not working on) Wii U, MK8 and DK are obvious, but looks like X, something about PG, and Next Level games could appear...
I'll tackle the Global SW tomorrow, this would be super long if I did it today.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
