That is true, but Wii U still needs a lot of support. Delaying MK8 would only hurt Wii U's sales. Besides, MK8 has been in development for quite a while. I don't think it needs any delaying.

I would assume/hope the next ND finally announces the release date for Mario Kart. They did say it was coming in the Spring, so unless they meant late Spring we're getting pretty close.

Idk, I mean, we're supposedly 2-4 months away from release, yet we really haven't seen a whole lot from this game. Only 11 out of the usual 32 tracks were shown, and there's still the possibility of additional cups. 17 out of MKWii's 25 characters confirmed so far, none of which are new, and MK8's total roster should surpass that of Wii's. Roughly 12 different kart parts revealed, half of MK7's total, and seeing as there are Bikes again I'd imagine the final total being much greater than 7's. Not a single new item revealed, infact some of the staple ones still haven't be confirmed, being the Starman and everyone's favorite shell. Lastly, we have nothing on the games features n modes, though of course we know Grand Prix, Time Trials, and Online play will be in there, and we also know a Battle Mode should be there too, but we haven't actually seen any of it, which is notable since Battle Mode has it's own set of courses. Wow that came out longer than I thought! In short, I'm bracing myself incase Nintendelay strikes again.

3DS News: January 24, 2014

• As mentioned above, Moon is being remade for the 3DS. Moon Chronicles will be divided into episodes, with the first 4 chapters and some VR missions costing $9 and each additional quartet of chapters costing another $2, for a total of $15. The original Moon, released in 2009, is considered one of the best FPS's on the DS.
• Best buy is temporarily taking $30 off the 3DS XL's price.
• Retro City Rampage is coming to the 3DS in February. It will cost $10 and take up a mere 16 MB.
• Originally a 2011 iOS game, the old-school RPG Dragon Fantasy is coming to the 3DS this spring.
• A little Smash Bros stage detail.
• A new trailer for Yoshi's New Island.
• Shin Megami Tensei 4 is currently only $36 on Amazon. This was one of the better 3DS JRPG's of 2013. Yeah, it was that good.
• Namco Bandai is now Bandai Namco.
• Some indie game I've never heard of is coming to the eShop next week.

the legend of zelda u gameplay unlikely but i can always dream
