Actually, it doesn't look too bad. Earthbound is my experience, it up scales well and regardless, if you don't like it it looks excellent on the GamePad.

Thanks!. My experience is that all games look pretty great on the gamepad. I don't know if it has more filters or something, but the lightning effects are much more noticeable on the gamepad, the only downside I feel about it is that the colours seem a bit washed out.

Very true, I think it's just that, as the GamePad runs at a lower resolution so more detail can be streamed to it maybe? I'm not sure, maybe it's just magic

3DS News: January 7, 2014

  • Weekly Sales Data is in! During Christmas Week, 2013, the 3DS sold over 750,000 units of hardware and over 2.750,000 units of software. Two 3DS games, Pokemon X/Y and Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, were in the top 10, thanks in part to the latter game's solid release in Japan. Global Milestones include Pokemon X/Y reaching over 9 million, becoming the #1 Best-Selling 3DS game of All Time, Puzzles & Dragons Z reaching over a million sold in Japan alone, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf reaching over 6 million sold. Local milestones include Pokemon X/Y reaching 3 million in just the USA. All in all, a good week for the 3DS worldwide.
  • A new way to bypass region locking has been invented.
  • Senran Kagura 2 has been announced. It will include new multiplayer modes, adds new characters, and is an August release in Japan.
  • The Chinese ban on foreign consoles has been temporarily and partially lifted.
  • The composer of Pokemon X/Y is leaving GameFreak.
  • Level 5 is still making games.

Finally found this thread. Ok I didn't want to create a thread to ask this question so if you guys could tell me if I should buy 2 3DS XL Zelda limited editions for 215? The only catch is neither of them come with the Zelda game. What I'm thinking is that I could easily sell one of them for the amount I paid for both.

I thought about this for a long time, too. SNES and GC had the ability to play GB(C)/GBA games via extension modules, but we never got anything for the DS. Understandbly, since 2 screens would be awkward on one TV. With Wii U, it would fit perfectly, since it can output 3D and has 2 screens, one of which is a touchscreen.

I really hope that Nintendo gets on to this.
