na, refurbrished is cheaper and I originally got a new one to avoid system failure. that didn't ammount tobeing worth the extra cash so I didn't splurge on another new console.

go back and read my reasoning about why the warranty thng does not apply to me.

I can vouch for this as someone who has had problems with all three PS consoles, I think RROD just happened let the PS3's problems slip under the radar and Sony got let off with a slap on the wrist this gen.

That being said, the PS2 outsold it's most relevant competitors by 6:1 or more, and the PS1's closest competitor was a console with no moving parts, they were kinda bound to take more heat by default, lol, I guarantee there would've been just as much of a backlash towards the Saturn and Dreamcast, especially the latter, if they sold in those quantities.

I just didn't understand what any of that had to do with the point I made in the first place, which was while it's true that THE most powerful console of the entire generation has never been the market leader per se, that doesn't mean that power hasn't mattered throughout previous generations.

Like I said in another thread this generation will be about people comparing 2 Victoria Secret models. U can nit pick al you want but you are still talking about Victoria Secret models.

Sad you say? By their definition of gaming, gaming isn't possible if it's not on Playstation or even if it is it can't be fun or relevant. 

MS got away with being the only one to have an online service that required you to pay. I think they'll get away for some minor graphical resolution. 

People should stop acting like everybody will see a noticeable difference between the two, and thinking everyone has a tv that run 1080p visuals... this is getting beyond sadness it's not even funny.

I guess Xbox One owners will laugh about it whilst playing Ryse, Forza 5, Quantum Break, Halo 5 among other graphical impressive games. :)

If history is accurate, I'm pretty sure most gamers don't care that much about power, especially concerning the differences between the Xbone and PS4.

I hope you see the irony of your post...It works both ways, especially if you look at selnors post history lol. Every fanbase acts that way, don't pretend it doesn't. This thread alone is proof of that. Try to eb more objective.
