First I don't visit Sony forums as I don't plan on buying a PS4 anytime soon, maybe in a few years though as I like playing games not consoles. Second, stop acting so childish. You're trying to justify your acts by pointing other people's act.

Thought you guys might find this interesting. I left out the super fail consoles. I did this off memory, so correct me if there's any mistakes. Each gen is ordered from weakest to strongest.

Number of times the strongest console was the highest selling - 0
Number of times the weakest console was the highest selling - 3
Number of times the strongest console was the lowest selling - 2
Number of times the weakest console was the lowest selling - 3
Number of times the best selling console was somewhere in the middle - 3

I guess the moral of the story is that the power of the console has very little to do with how well it does.

Xb one is not weak hardware. Wii U is weak hardware for gen 8, just like Wii was. Xb one is comparable but a bit less powerful than PS4, but it's not weak. That is unless you're going to say all gen 8 hardware is weak.

What if the Steambox is more powerful than the PS4?  I have no clue because I haven't been keeping up with any news regarding the supposed system.  Sure your point still stands but if another competitor jumps into the race offering higher specs along with higher price then it will continue the streak of highest powered system not selling the most.

People talk so much about power and graphics as if it's the most important aspect of gaming. It's sad. Buy a PC and never play older games that are considered by many to be the greatest, like Ocarina of Time and just be quiet already.

Well I can rest assure you that it's not going to happen. It'll sell out at launch but overall it's getting pantsed in preorders 2:1. It's almost safe to say this console war is over. They seriously might as well delay it tbh with you.

What if you consider old PC games such as Magic Carpet, Duke Nukem 3D, Civ3, Starsiege: Tribes, C&C: Red Alert, Starcraft, Links 386 Pro, SimCity 2000, Sim Theme Park, X Wing VS Tie Fighter, etc.. to be greater than Ocarina of Time?

Then hopefully you still continued PC gaming, unlike me. I played most of them titles. Ever since I've moved away from my parents home a few years ago, I haven't had a gaming PC unfortunantly. Growing up, ammirite?

Or you could buy a PC and actually play Ocarina of Time. :P :P :P

The lineup of announced games for Xbox One stomps the PS4 with all their $2 sidescroller indie titles and lack of AAA games.

in 2013:
It is Knack and Killzone vs. Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5 and Killer Instinct.

in 2014 (so far):
It is InFamous and Driveclub vs Halo 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Quantum Break and Titanfall

And I am not even counting games like Project Spark or Zoo Tycoon.
Gamewise this is no competition right now.
