Umm many dont like PC gaming its more expensive and less convenient...Many games dont come on PC, and no sony exclusives do. This has ZERo to do with PC gaming, a PC to run games like PS4 isn't cheap.... Strawman argument.

It will look like they did get away with it, at launch, but then again the sales of the consoles will suffer big time when you consider LTD.

Weak hardware shouldn't be a dealbreaker for anyone. Strong hardware is a nice perk, but what the PS4 really has going for it is the game focus. What MS shouldn't get away with is the TV focus, DRM mess, and the fact that they are still forcing the Kinect on everyone despite not showing why it is good for gamers. They fixed the first two, if they sort out the last one they deserve to do as well as Sony.

Sad you say? By their definition of gaming, gaming isn't possible if it's not on Playstation or even if it is it can't be fun or relevant. 

MS got away with being the only one to have an online service that required you to pay. I think they'll get away for some minor graphical resolution. 

People should stop acting like everybody will see a noticeable difference between the two, and thinking everyone has a tv that run 1080p visuals... this is getting beyond sadness it's not even funny.

I hope you see the irony of your post...It works both ways, especially if you look at selnors post history lol. Every fanbase acts that way, don't pretend it doesn't. This thread alone is proof of that. Try to eb more objective.

What do you mean "get away with weak hardware"? I don't remember there being a policy saying you have to make the most powerful hardware in order to sell well.

Can't get a PS4 to write your term paper or vpn into work, yet I can do both and my game library is whatever I want off of steam, gog, etc. and over 20+ years of backwards compatability + emulation.

Not everyone thinks graphics are the be all end all of gaming, even PC gamers with high end rigs will drop settings in multiplayer games because eye candy gets in the way. Wii won last gen because it offered something different, and it will be the experience that sells consoles, not the pixels.

They don't matter as much as the Sony camp is trying to portray. I played Deus Ex in 720p for the frames on my 5770 and it was just fine before I upgraded, didn't really care. I don't mind playing quakelive with shitty textures @60+fps, even though I can do it with HQ settings easily, pros play SC2 on low settings, and thousands of people are playing LoL on mediocre machines. What does that tell you about graphics? Point of diminishing returns.
