All things the ps4 can do..............without kinect. Ps4 has vocie commands and you dont need an expensive camera.......

First off, minor differences, not substantial.  Let's not stretch things more than they are or over react like people already have.

i dont think 50%-120% higher resolution with more stable frame rate and more effects is minor. if thats considered minor,
i cant imagine what the differences in current gen multiplats are. thats only 5-15% difference in resolution, and people often made a big dead about it.

And i certainly dont think XBO will sell the most but I do want to show you this.

Wii - 100m sold
PS2 - 150m sold

Both were the weakest console.

well PS2 wasnt the weakest, it was stronger than the dreamcast. furthermore, the power of the console was almost completely irrelevent to the sales of the consoles (and certainly weaker consoles dont attract sales). those 2 consoles abviously garnered those sales due to the cheap prices and game catalog. The more powerful a console is is a nice selling point, and it does help (the weaker the console does hinder sales to an extent), but price and games trump power in console sales. also ps2 launched earlier than gamecube and xbox. launching before your major competiton also help game sales.

and it so happens the PS4 is more powerful, is less money, and has games, and is launching before xboxone. So xbox being less powerful is not going to help it in sales at all.

I have not heard any report that it can also activate your TV, your surround set-up and turn your console on through the sound of your voice, but maybe I have missed something. And ofcourse you can´t use the Kinect, it is not even compatible with PS4 :).

I would have thought the Death had been the OP the way he/she has been working this thread.  Every positive comment or any comment not saying the PS4 should be placed on an alter he has tried to come up with some reasoning for bashing it.  You have to just accept he doesn't like M$ or Xbox in general.

OT: it's quite clear that Sony is aiming the launch messaging towards the core group quite successfully.  The Sony enthusiasts are hard at work to someohow convince the M$ diehards to buy the PS4 instead.  All of these threads really just come down a few people banging their heads together over nothing. 

Anyone that would be sad that the XB1 could sell really well or even win the generation is actually "sad".  Both the PS4 and the XB1 will do well, why be sad?

isnt killer instinct a download only game. so 2 vs 3. not what i would call "stomp" or what about first party that 2 vs 1 for sony. is that "stomp"

in 2014 (so far):
It is InFamous and Driveclub vs Halo 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Quantum Break and Titanfall

So, we've seen significant amounts of infamous and driveclub for ps3, and Kinect and titanfall for xbox. yet your including games with nothing or next to nothing shown for them in Halo and Quantum Break.  And you left out The Order, which weve seen a lot more of than halo or quantum break., i wonder why. anyway you may as well include MLB: The Show 2014Uncharted 4 (or next ND game), the next MM game or Santa monica game, etc.

And I am not even counting games like Project Spark or Zoo Tycoon.
Gamewise this is no competition right now.

both systems have fairly strong lineup, even if its premature to be speculating on 2014 lineups, when the spike game awards hasnt yet transpired, which is when we know many more games will be announced.

Yeah I know. The joke begins with the OP though, calling a high-end console "weak". I am probably one of the few that is a huge XBox fan, yet I hope PS4 will be the market leader, since rooting for numer 2 or 3 in a generation always have turned out well for me games-wise :).

The funny thing is, so many PS fans diss Kinect yet the moment you talk about it´s benefits, the fact that PS has PSEYE comes up, go figure :). I hope they are happy with PS4 and focus on supporting it instead of focusing so much on X1, which seems to be the case right now.

I bought a megadrive while I lived in Okinawa for 2 years.  It was the best console at the time.  It wasn't the #1 seller, but that didn't bother me.

Umm the ps4 was confirmed to be able to be turned on with voice months ago, trough the camera or head set.

What can x1 do, that no one can do now? The only thing is use your EXISTING cable, as a pass thru......Pointless feature sorry, everyone already has cable. A clear case of trying to sell something nobody need sor wants.. its not replacing your cable just using your existing which you still have to pay for. 100 bucks because too lazt to press  BUTTON?

I can stream ps4 games to my handheld, and have backwards compatibility with gaikai, 2 features vastly more impressive then voice gimmicks which both have.

I am sorry, but the only thing I hear from you is the same reasoning some PS fans had with the first Kinect back in 2010. You didn´t understand the difference between it an PSEYE then, and you won´t be able to tell the difference now. Can you possibly accept that I find these features extremely useful on X1 and things that for ME seperates it from PS4 or are you going to continue spewing what YOU find as benefits for PS4 instead?

I am very glad that you are happy with those features in PS4 and I will not in any way try to rain on your parade about them since it is your right to think they are great features without someone giving you a hard time for it. So my suggestion is this: spend a little less time downplaying other people´s hopes and enjoyment and spend a little more time enjoying your console to the fullest, you will be a lot happier that way :).

EDIT: BTW, the way players will be able to type in PS4 with the help of the controller and PSEYE looks completely awesome, something I really would have liked on X1.
