You may say it stoped just in 2013, but there is no denying that from 2010~2011 to today they have a lot less exclusives games than they had at the beggining of the gen... almost like they tough they were good enough and didn't need to give an extra effort... I'm biased against them, starting when they prematurely killed Xbox original, them stealthly removed real support from the Xbox360... from where I see I don't doubt they will have a nice launch and first year of games (for the people that like their kind of game anyway), and I'm not even discussing inferior ports or if the exclusives are less impressive graphically (I'm sure PS will be a little or a lot better on this field)... but when a company do the same 2 times in a row, I suspect they may do it again (lot of 1st parties studios or not).

They have supported the 360 far more than what they did with the original xbox, on which they truly cut total support admist the new console and left it to die. It's easy to compare it to a veteran like Sony, but Microsoft is still the newbie between the three and they're a company that purchases money over what they control: hardware, software and things like that. Their politices are different. At least I can say I prefer the 360 support than the Wii support these last years. They haven't stealth removed support from the console. Some of the launch window games for the Xbox One will also be present on the 360, which is support no matter how you want to look at it. (But I would agree they're not exclusives).
They went from 7 first party studios (I think) with the 360 to 18 working on the Xbox One. Trust me that would make a difference. They won't need to resort to third parties that much (like Epic and Gears of War) since they can produce meaty content.
That exclusive support you speaking of its first five years was more from second and third party than from the first party ones, because they didn't have enough studios to keep up the pace by Nintendo and Sony.
And since what I like to do is playing games no matter what the platform, I'm happy with it. I've managed to play almost every single exclusive game from every console this generation. I'll be getting a next-gen console by 2015, probably the WiiU or the Xbox One. So I am in no hurry for the next generation.
