So has anyone else tried the DLC case yet? I thought it was enjoyable, although it won't stand with the best in the series or anything. The animated cutscenes all felt superfluous again, though.

Anime cutscenes were probably my favorite out of any case in the game. Especially the last one. That was hilarious.

DLC case was good. Excellent twist at the end, and the last testimony was hilarious. 

What didn't you like? I personally thought it was 2-3 esque done right. The grudge was a legitimate one, the logic wasn't ridiculous, and most importantly, Moe the Clown wasn't giving testimony.

Though both African American characters in the Ace Attorney series have turned out to be murderers. I wonder if that makes Capcom racist.

Oh, come on. You know it wouldn't be a good Ace Attorney game without cross examining an animal. :p

The change of crime scene was something I saw coming a mile away, but the two orcas were a complete shock to me. I thought that twist was pulled off wonderfully.

And, honestly, the "it's all good" ending was the only way anything made sense. Everyone was ready to convict Rimes of murder without providing so much as a motive. The accidential thing had to be brought into it somewhere.

Lotta was never seriously accused of murder, unless I'm completely forgetting something, and Rimes never murdered or even attempted to murder anyone: the closest he came was wanting to kill an orca, but that's not legally "murder."
