I didn't like how the defense went ahead and demanded a cross-examination of the orca. I was relieved when it didn't come to that during day 1 of the trial, but then the game turned around and made it a part of day 2. The twists "crime scene was a different place from the assumed one" and "there are two orcas" were done better before. The black guy was really annoying in the end and the "all is good" conclusion felt forced. |
Oh, come on. You know it wouldn't be a good Ace Attorney game without cross examining an animal. :p
The change of crime scene was something I saw coming a mile away, but the two orcas were a complete shock to me. I thought that twist was pulled off wonderfully.
And, honestly, the "it's all good" ending was the only way anything made sense. Everyone was ready to convict Rimes of murder without providing so much as a motive. The accidential thing had to be brought into it somewhere.
