This game is going to be unbelievably good.

One of the most underrated storylines in the history of videogames. Sells well enough but the storyline is highly underrated.

I will say that I only played 3 but the story of that game was not good. The setting was nice though and the whole backstory has alot of potential so I'd be willing to give the benefit of the doubt and say that Shadowfall might actually have a good story.

Gameplay interests me alot more, cause it looks to be a big departure from at least 3, with how open the game seems

The gameplay is always being experimented with and the story hasn't changed, its just thirty years in the future. If three was the only game you played I can see why you don't have such a great view of it. I am judging the franchise as a whole in story quality.

Can't wait!

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Looks fantastic. I am a bit hesitant at getting excited over the story given the shambolic quality of KZ3, but this definitely looks like a step forward.

I was always astonished that GG never really introduced much scripted scenes beyond a few explosions or enemies appearing at certain times. The franchise was literally crying out for some interesting background events and characters doing more than just shooting at you. Finally we see some civilians and are getting an insight into the story through multiple characters, but I still feel they could go a lot further with it.

Just an example off the top of my head would be stumbling across a room full of Helghan playing cards and listening to a radio with their language. You can watch as they play, enter and shoot them or completely bypass them. The series needs moments like that to break up the pacing and gameplay more. Enough of the wave after wave of countless enemies without pause or any sense of purpose beyond endlessly patrolling or shooting. The game and critically the people that populate it, need more life.

Man i love this franchise!!

New gameplay and story elements have me very exited about this game, but the graphics have me a little underwhelmed from this trailer.
